2025 Carp Cup - Winner Ian Hart
The annual Carp Cup match was held on Saturday 24 May at Woodfields. With only seven anglers fishing the match they basicaly had the lake to themselves.
The fishing was very hard with only three fish caught but what fish they were. Weights below.
Ian Hart won the match and is pictured below receiving the cup from Barry Smith.

Spring Series Final Result
Ron Snaith took a 3 point lead over his nearest rival Andy Ward into the final match.
It was a close run match with quite a few entrants in the frame to take the trophy if Ron had a poor day, but he didn't.
Andy, who came third in the match, could only manage to score 1 more point than Ron who won the series by 2 points scoring 33 points.
Andy Ward came second with 31 points and Pat Dunkley came third with 28.5 points.
So well done to Ron.

Martin Yardley won the final match with 7lb 12oz. In total 16 members fished the match.
