Autumn Cup - Match 1 Result
The first match in the Autumn Cup series was held on Friday 12 September with 14 members taking part.
Pete Wilkins took top spot with an impressive 15lb 9oz. Dave White came second with 4lb 13oz and Pat Dunkley was third with 4lb 3oz.

2025 Bryan & Alan Bedward Memorial Trophy Winner - Pete Wilkins
What a finish to the match series with Pete Wilkins taking the trophy by the smallest of margins - a mere half point. And with only 2.5 points covering the top five positions it was all very close.
Going into the match, Pat Dunkley had a two point lead over his nearest rival Pete. However, with Pete scoring 7.5 points and Pat scoring only 0.5 point in the final match and with both having to drop there lowest score it resulted with a half point victory for Pete.

2025 Summer Cup - Winner - Pat Dunkley
Pat Dunkley won the the Summer Cup with an impressive 54lb 11oz over the six match series.
Jack Robinson, pictured left, last year's winner, presented the trophy to Pat.

2025 Friday Cup Winner - Pete Wilkins
Pete Wilkins, pictured right below, being presented the trophy by our Chairman Barry Smith.
Going into the final match Pete had a 5 point lead over his nearest rival Pat Dunkley and secured the series win by coming fourth in the final match thereby scoring 7 points to give him a total of 45 points.
Ron Snaith came second in the series on 38 points with Barry Smith coming third with 36 points.

Thames Valley Police Cup - Junior Trophy Result
19 July 2025 - Four young anglers fished the match. Charlie Davies won the match with 2lb 3oz which is a very good weight for a two hour match.

OAP Trophy Result
Well done to Pat Dunkley who won the OAP trophy. Pat was always favourite to win the trophy going into the final match following his tremendous result in match one when he weighed in with 26lb 11oz.

The second match in the series was fished by 21 members on 12 July 2025. This match is fished in two sections - Pat Dunkley with 14lb 9oz won the match and topped section 1. Dave White, came second, topped section 2 with 10lb 3oz. Andy Ward came third in the match with 7lb 11oz - second spot in section 1.

The Friday Cup series got off to a flying start for Pat Dunkley (pictured below) with a lake record-breaking match weight of 26lb 11oz.(which included 14 tench).
This is certainly the highest match weight for a four hour match since we started excluding common and mirror carp from matches.
Again, another record as the match held on 20 June was fished by 21 members.
