BDAA Junior Open Match Result
Only five ounces separated the top three junior anglers in the first junior match of 2019, the BDAA Junior Open Trophy, which was held on Saturday 15 June at Woodfields.
Six young anglers took part and all caught fish.
Charlie Craven, picture below being presented the trophy by John Hewison, won the match by 1/2 oz.

Thomas Alexander, who came 2nd in the match, won the Pete Callow Cup trophy for catching the most fish. Thomas is pictured below being presented with the trophy by Pete Callow.

F H Taylor Shield Junior Open Match Result
Six young anglers took part in the match held on 13 July and all caught fish.
Millie in her first match, pictured below in the centre holding the F H Taylor Shield with the other competitors, won weighing in wth just under 2lb of fish.
